BASIC COMPUTERIZED ACCOUNTING

The Basic Accounting program is designed to prepare the student
for an entry-level position as a bookkeeper, accounting clerk,
office clerk, accounts payable clerk, accounts receivable clerk,
or payroll clerk. These positions may be in state agencies,
private businesses, and companies of any size or type. Students
will gain hands on training in the various activities of
accounting, including use of the computer and office software,
business communications, journals and ledgers, accounts payable,
accounts receivable, payroll, and inventory. Assistance in
creating a resume and developing interviewing skills is also
provided.
COMPUTERIZED ACCOUNTING

This Accounting program is designed to

accounting system. These positions may be in state agencies,
private businesses, and companies of any size or type. Students
will gain hands on training in the various activities of
accounting, including use of the computer and office software,
business communications, journals and ledgers, accounts payable,
accounts receivable, payroll, and inventory. Students will use
Quick Books, Peachtree, and Microsoft Small Business Accounting
systems. Assistance in creating a resume and developing
interviewing skills is also provided
